Lloydminster has the world’s largest border markers. To signify the provincial boundary and the 4th meridian that marks the border, these four, 100 ft high giant survey markers were created. Four themes are represented: oil and gas, the Barr colonists, agriculture and native North Americans. The gap between pillars represents the actual border.
